What We Do

Much of our work in GFWC Marlborough Junior Woman’s Club stems out of special programs and committees defined by our parent organization – General Federation of Women’s Clubs. Here are just a few of our committees and the work we do locally within them. New members are encouraged to join committees as they can make the sometimes daunting amount of work we do seem manageable.

Community Reading Day

Education can open doors and expand opportunities and freedoms for their members, their communities, and the world. Education contributes to fostering peace, democracy, and economic growth, as well as improving health and reducing poverty.

Food Pantry Donation

Designed to encourage members to make a difference in our world by becoming advocates for children. Clubs may choose to organize projects that benefit children in their community, state, or world.

Donation of books to Guyana

Designed to inform members of issues that affect the well-being of individuals, families, and communities by providing opportunities and resources to meet and address needs through volunteering.

Easter basket donation
