GFWC Marlborough Junior Woman's Club
Support our Soldiers

The GFWC Marlborough Junior Woman's Club will have items available to support our soldiers at the Heritage Festival on Main Street, Sunday, September 30 from 10am-3pm. Coolties, polymer-filled scarves which lower body temperature by 1-4 degrees, will be available for a donation of $3.00. For each one purchased, another will be donated to a soldier overseas. Also, bring your spare change for "Quarters for Quarters", which will raise funds to build homes for veterans, as well as to help construct Fisher House, a home-away-from-home for families of veterans who are hospitalized. Denim squares will also be available for signing, for a donation of $1 each, which will be made into quilts for injured soldiers as part of "Operation Quiet Comfort". The GFWC Marlborough Junior Woman's Club is a non-profit civic organization of women who live or work in Marlborough, Hudson, and surrounding areas dedicated to community improvement through volunteerism.
