First Aid Kit Donation

Members of the Marlborough Junior Woman’s Club met the president of the Marlborough Boys & Girls Club at the Pleasant Street Clubhouse to deliver two full First Aid kits to the kids at staff

Recent Events – Princess Boutique

We held our Metrowest Princess Boutique on March 5th.  We were able to provide gowns, shoes, jewelry, handbags and make-up to over 150 girls.  It was an amazing day, here is the clip that was shown on the March 4th 6pm News on WBZTV that shows what prep looked like this year as well as some of the beautiful girls who joined us.

April 2016 Business Meeting

The Marlborough Junior Woman’s Club April Business Meeting will be held on Tuesday, April 5th, at 7:30 PM at Firefly’s Restaurant (350 E Main St, Marlborough, MA 01752).

The Business Meeting is held monthly, the first Tuesday of every month, and we use this meeting to talk about upcoming events, new community outreach opportunities as well as an opportunity for fellowship and networking with other members.

It is a fantastic and fun event, we hope you can join us!

GFWC Marlborough Junior Woman’s Club is committed to providing service and help to those in need in our communities. Your support of Trivia Night will help us in this mission.

If you want to ensure you and your friends sit together on the same team, we encourage you to contact us and reserve a table. Tables can include a maximum of 10 people. Tickets are $25 per person. To reserve your tickets or table, email us at tickets@marlboroughjuniors.org.

March 2016 Business Meeting

The Marlborough Junior Woman’s Club March Business Meeting will be held on Tuesday, March 1st, at 7 PM at Firefly’s Restaurant (350 E Main St, Marlborough, MA 01752).

The Business Meeting is held monthly, the first Tuesday of every month, and we use this meeting to talk about upcoming events, new community outreach opportunities as well as an opportunity for fellowship and networking with other members.

At our March meeting, we will be holding a fundraiser to raise money for the club, ear marked specifically for Dollars for Delegates.  Dollars for Delegates is a fund we have to help clubwomen attend conferences at both a state and national level.

GFWC Marlborough Junior Woman’s Club joins the General Federation of Women’s Clubs in their support of the United Nation’s Shot@Life campaign. Shot@Life is a movement to protect children worldwide by providing life-saving vaccines where they are most needed.

World Immunization Week is April 24–April 30 and Shot@Life is asking its partners to participate in Shot@Life’s coast-to-coast challenge for global vaccination. Unite with global vaccine champions across the country to reach three collective goals in three areas: building relationships with your representatives, leveraging the media for advocacy and building community support. Together, we can stand up for children everywhere.

Federation Day – Celebrating 125 Years of GFWC

The General Federation of Women’s Clubs, an international women’s organization dedicated to community improvement by enhancing the lives of others through volunteer service, celebrates its 125th anniversary on April 24, the organization’s Federation Day.

GFWC Marlborough Junior Woman’s Club (founded in 1964) is a proud member of the General Federation of Women’s Clubs (GFWC).

To mark GFWC’s 125th Anniversary, GFWC Marlborough Junior Woman’s Club received a proclamation from Arthur Vigeant, mayor of Marlborough, MA, in recognition of the often unheralded work clubwomen contribute to our communities.
