Contest is open to any student attending Advanced Math & Science Academy Charter School, Hudson Public Schools, Immaculate Conception Schools and Marlborough Public Schools.
One entry from each district will be selected as the winner and a cash donation will be made in their honor to the school in which they teach. The winning teacher will also be invited to attend MJWC’s June Business meeting dinner, June 3, 2014 to be recognized.

The Marlborough Junior Woman’s Club is sponsoring a writing contest to honor teachers for National Teacher Appreciation Day on May 6th. This contest is open to all students in the Advanced Math and Science Academy Charter School, Hudson Public School District, Immaculate Conception Schools, and Marlborough Public School District.

The GFWC Marlboro Junior Woman’s Club was formed in October, 1964 by a group of 15 women looking to perform community service work. 2014 marks our 50th year of community service.
If you are looking for a fun night out and want to relive some of the tunes from the 80s come to The Best Prom you Never Had. You will wear fancy clothes! You will dance! You will eat, and drink, and help us raise money for those in need in our community! You may be the prom king, or queen! You will have a great time!

Just before the holidays, nearly 40 families were moved into hotels in the Marlborough area as part of the state’s program to move families into hotels as shelters in the Boston area have filled up. Read more about in this Community Advocate article.
MJWC member Katherine Hennessy jumped into action first organizing a coat drive followed by a non-perishable food drive. Friends, family and Juniors dropped off coats, gloves, hats, boots and mittens to Katherine’s house. Overall, there were donations of over 40 coats, 5 pairs of boots, multiple sets of hats & mittens, scarves, etc.
