How did you find out about Marlborough Juniors?
A newspaper article that highlighted the Princess Boutique project.
What/Who convinced you to join?
Reading about Princess Boutique and Katherine Hennessy.
What positions have you held in club?
Education dept. co-chair and Ways & Means
What has been your favorite project(s) in club and why?
Definitely Princess Boutique. It’s an amazing project all around and knowing the impact that we are having on these young ladies’ lives is just amazing.
What do you like best about being a Marlborough Junior?
The camaraderie and friendships that I have developed, as well as knowing that I’m part of an organization that makes a difference in my community.
What is your “day job?” How (if at all) do the skills and/or connections from your job help Marlborough Juniors?
I work as an administrative assistant at a Marlborough elementary school. With my work connections and MJWC connections I feel like I’m able to connect or help people in both of these worlds.
What do you do in your spare time? Provide a fun fact about yourself.
My passion is baking! If I could quit my full time job and just bake every day, that’s what I would love to do.
What is your favorite app or social media outlet?
Facebook is definitely my favorite social media outlet, although I’ve been trying to keep up with my kids by using Snapchat and Instragram!
What is your dream vacation spot?
Santa Maria, Azores – spending time with my parents, brothers, sisters-in-law, nieces and cousins.
